(no subject)

I've rated almost 900 movies on Netflix... and I know I've really only scratched the surface of movies I've ever seen.

My god. How many movies have I seen in the last thirty odd years? 5,000? 10,000? I have no idea.

you need more hobbies.

If I've seen 10,000 movies, that's only about 8% of my life give or take... I spent probably about 29% of it sleeping.

:)

This assumes you have only ever seen each movie once.

It's just an estimate... I have no interest in actually spending time figuring out how much time I've spent doing things. I'll get stuck in an infinite loop. :)

Calculate instead the amount of time you've spent not doing anything. Won't get you stuck in a loop and may well be more useful information?

film appreciation runs in our family

starting w/ Nonny C's bizarre fixation on oldies
i think she has sent at least 29% of her life watching films
and 8% sleeping with her TV on
