New Cartoon Update
TiVo caught an episode of Heatguy J on MTV2 for me - it seems really quite cool based on the first episode. Feels a lot like Ghost in the Shell, with some great emphasis on technology animation (cool robots, vehicles, weapons).
I'm also watching Astro Boy on WB; the animation is totally Giant Robo style, could be the same production company. It's more of a kid's show with pretty simple dialogue and stuff, but it's pretty cool visually.
Dave the Barbarian on Toon Disney is pretty funny, a lot of decent writing and humor with some good character design.
