The neat thing about our justice system is that the accused is innocent until proven guilty.

This was only true until the PATRIOT act was passed. Now anyone can be held for any reason for an indefinite period of time without any due process or anyone ever being informed. And that's anyone, not just people who are "suspected terrorists".
