OMG BIJOU!!
There are about eight million things happening at the Bijou this month, and I want to go to all of them. They're showing a restored Charlie Chaplin movie, "Modern Times", they're showing "Greater Southbridge", "Monster", "Together", and "The Triplets of Belleville". They're going to have live jazz, they had open mic last night (sad to miss that), and their new vegan/mexican restaurant headed by the former chef of the Living Earth Garden Cafe is now open for business. Good golly!!

I'm going to the Bijou on Thursday at 6pm for dinner with Tony Shalhoub. I'm likely to be going to the Bijou on Friday at 6pm to see "Greater Southbridge" because it's a one night only thing. I really, really want to see "Triplets of Belleville" and it's playing on Wednesday at these times: 5:15, 7:15 & 9:15
But, on the other hand... spending three nights of next week at the Bijou is a little, um. Crazy. Or something. I dunno.
So?
You're crazy.
Just deal, you know you wanna sleep with the Bijou founder anyway. Now's your chance to talk her up.

Where is the restaurant? If I recall, it's not in the cinema. I really want to give it a try because I love Mexican, but everytime I go to Tortilla Sams, I get horribly sick.
I keep hearing people say that Triplets of Belleville should have gotten the musical Oscar. Loved the movie, but that song made my teeth hurt. Please tell me I'm not crazy.
And yes, the bartender is cute...
