Only NINE more days!!

I can't believe the hot dog safari is only nine days away. I have to try and lose a couple more pounds before then...

You may do the math and realize that it is the day after the last Elbridge Street party. This is okay. The plan is that we will gather at Noah's place at 730am on Sunday. Rides and such will be coordinated there.

On Suffering

A friend of mine and I had one of those life-story-over-coffee type conversations recently. You know, the kind of talk that makes me feel so amazingly lucky to have had the wonderful life/family that I have had.

So, I sat, and I pondered, and I asked her what I want to ask you:

- Is sufferring a necessary part of life?

- If it is necessary, is there a specific necessary amount needed... and then can the rest be avoided? Should the rest be avoided?
