Would you live with me?

I may be looking for a new roommate by the end of October.

I haven't completely decided if I want/need one yet or not. Mostly it'll depend on finances... I'm not sure if I'll be able to stick out the Winter on my own paying both a higher rent and the entire heating bill all by myself. But on the other hand, it would be really awesome to have another open room here - I could remove the wallpaper in the other bedroom and make it really nice in there, then move all the stuff in the office into that room and do the same improvements in the office. I would then have a bedroom, an office, and a play room (for my air hockey table, comics, and toys) all nice and updated.

If I were to seek a new roommate, these would be the characterstics I'd seek:

• Fiscally responsible. Must have a decently paying job. Must be able to handle a maximum $600 in expenses a month during the Winter (that's rent and all utilities, subtract $150 from that during the non-winter months). Must pay me on time every month. Must be able to show me a personal budget and finances.
  
  
• Clean. Must know how to clean floors, counters, and a bathtub and must be willing to do same at least every two weeks. I don't want to have to do all the housecleaning by myself any more.
  
  
• Not a nutjob. I don't need roommate drama and won't tolerate it.

Fugging fug

So I started taking some Claritin this weekend to combat post-nasal shit I started getting when the weather changed. What it seems to have accomplished is that I no longer have goo sliding down the back of my throat, making me lose my voice... now it collects in my nose. And the Claritin makes me really thirsty - so when I'm not drinking water, I'm fine and all dried out; but the instant I quench my thirst my nose starts filling up with mucus again.

It would be so much easier if I could just fucking DESSICATE myself like a big ole piece of person jerky.
