In the office

Still waiting for clients to give us work. I think I'm going to get swamped in February - there are at least four projects that are starting next month.

Currently getting things squared away for Nap Time at Arisia this Saturday. Printing characters, making packets, fixing email casting forms, making combat cards... Last night we went through all the props for the game - consolidating finger paint into jars, putting all the craft supplies together, hunting through old prop boxes, getting alphabet and school posters together. Don is really excited, he really gets especially worked up over this game; it is one of our best creations though, and it's a hoot to run.

By the by, we are looking for people to help run the game, Noon to 4pm on Saturday. I was hoping to rope ShogunHB into being a teacher. There are still slots available for players also - fill out our casting form!

Heard on NPR

Listening to the 11am Connection show on the way into work, I heard a statistic saying that people are now staying single much longer than ever before - moving the median age of marriage up by 4.5 years.

Apparently this study showed that, in a span of 42 years from age 18 to 59, people stayed unmarried for half that time, and were essentially without a partner at all for 10 years.
