Hm, job.

I got a call from a recruiter that is desperate to fill a contract position for Verizon in downtown Boston for FRIDAY. They want to do technical testing today, meet tomorrow, and start work on Friday. It's $35 an hour for a month, which about meets my criteria... except for the commute into Boston.

I'm not desperate, I don't want to leap at this thing - I think it's a good sign that there's work out there for me. I just signed up at a couple new job sites (this one came from Dice.com; thank you meerkitty!) so I'm going to wait it out a little longer and see if I can't get something better.

Well, I have to endorse Dice.com now... I just got another recruiter lead for a contract job as technical lead for a pharma company in Bedford going on until October 2005.
