I just called the guy about Apartment 2 and told him I was sold on the place. Now I just wait for him to call back...

I had 1/2 price sushi at The Blue Anchor last night on Main Street in Hyannis. The maki were great: I had oshinko, cucumber, tamago (yum), a spicy tuna roll, and an eight piece tempura fried veggie roll. I also ordered tuna and yellowtail sashimi, and while the yellowtail was superb the tuna was light pink and almost flavorless.

32 pieces of sushi and a glass of Pinot Grigio for 28.00 with tip. Not bad!

I'll definitely be back for more.

Apartment 2 is in high demand - there's at least two other people that want this place, and possibly another one who's going to look at it tonight. I expect that the landlord is going to come back to me and tell me that other people are going to bid the rent higher... at which point I may become very sad.

It is a really nice apartment, I'm not suprised that people are trying to snatch it up.

The whole foods store down the street from me is faboo. Not only do they stock my favorite wasabi rice snacks, their produce is incredibly fresh. I bought a juicy, ripe half a canteloupe, a bag of grapes, some lush bulbs of garlic... and I used the garlic to make some amazing spinach with garlic & ginger, and a batch of red swiss chard. I used grapeseed oil, garlic, salt & pepper, fresh lemon juice, veggie broth, and a bit of honey with the chard and man, it's all so so tasty.

Happiness.
