New Apartment!!
Sep. 15th, 2004 08:24 amI have wireless high speed Intarweb. At last!
I've moved 75% of my stuff from Brewster to the new place in Hyannis. I cleaned most of the kitchen [Speaking of which: for the love of all that is holy, someone must institute MANDATORY MOP TRAINING for all human beings so that no one need ever move into an apartment with a floor as sticky as a movie theater]. I've got my bedroom mostly set up, and I spent $120 at Bed Bath and Beyond on dishes, silverware, a shower curtain and rings, some chip clips, and Raisinets.
I had the most awesome feeling when I walked into BB&B... I looked around at all the STUFF everywhere, and I just started feeling totally elated. There were all kinds of things I could stick in my new apartment! My new apartment!! I was so ecstatic about finally moving into this great new place and really starting fresh that I was grinning like an idiot while shopping for dishes.
Next is buying a new mattress, moving stuff from Worcester, and installing Fluffy.
