Vacationing
Jan. 25th, 2005 11:49 amI used to make an annual trip up to the Woodstock, Vermont / Lebanon, New Hampshire area in the Fall, on or around Columbus Day. I also used to go up to Maine, to Old Orchard Beach and Ogunquit and Kittery and the surrounding area. My fiancee and I stayed in a bunch of nice bed and breakfasts, and I got to peruse antiquarian bookstores and buy tantalizing local foods and dine at interesting restaurants.
I've got to take a real vacation again, a two week one that I can plan for myself. At this point I'm thinking it's going to have to be Late April or May, but I think I'd like to spend time at a bed and breakfast - or maybe just go someplace entirely new and explore it. I've never really vacationed all by myself before, I think it's about time I did so.
Maybe San Francisco? Or maybe Seattle. I'll have to think about it and check out what's going on at different places in the early Spring.
