Today I Am Pissed

I am sick of bullshit.

I am sick of the Bush administration co-opting the national narrative. I am outraged by political operative propagandists being PAID with MY TAX MONEY to push policy in the media.

I am sick of hearing about the so-called "homosexual agenda" from people who are clearly pushing a reactionary "Christian" agenda. I am disgusted by the hypocrisy of bible belt morons who push "covenant marriages" in states with the highest divorce rates - and I do not doubt that they will use legal language in new marriage laws to deny people their civil rights.

I am sick of finding out about numerous attempts by government agencies to fudge scientific data, remove references to the existence of homosexuality, and outright LIE about the efficiency of condoms and the transmission of AIDS in its publications - and all the while denying that they have no political motivation in doing so.

George Bush is a puppet clown that dances all over the place, across the nation and across the world, spouting off: "Look at me! Hate the gays! Axis of Evil! SS Savings Accounts! Ignore the people pulling my strings!!"

NPR and a movie!

I might consider signing up for this. I'd have to leave work early on Monday once a month to get there, but it could be a very cool thing...

Romney Says: We Have Always Been At War With Eastasia

During a speech to Republicans Party activists in South Carolina on Monday, Romney said, "From day one, I've opposed the move for same-sex marriage and its equivalent, civil unions."

According to news accounts, Romney said he has never said, "I support civil unions."

Screw you Mitt.
