Commedia Dell'Arte in Boston
Mar. 9th, 2005 11:33 amAlex Newman is putting up a Commedia show this week at the Boston Center for the Arts. Shows are tonight, Wednesday, through Saturday (March 9-12) at 8 p.m., with a matinee at 3 p.m. on Saturday as well.
In Alex's words:
"Last night, despite the snow storm, we had a small but enthusiastic audience who validated my opinion: it's a very good show. It's funny, clever, got music and dancing (but not too much), the funniest duet you'll ever see, and if a near-perfect balance of improvisation and rehearsed bits. Just like commedia should be."
There are no published reviews of the current show, but here's a review of one of their past performances.
