Free TiVo this weekend

Practically free. TiVos are now being sold with $150 rebate *and* with three months of free service. That's another $39.00 off, making it a grand total of $11.00 to purchase a TiVo.

I don't know how they're going to beat that deal. I less than three TiVo!!

Hmm... Strong Buy AOL?

If I were a multi-billion dollar search engine company with a stock value around $300 a share, I'd be very interested in purchasing an installed base of ISP users and instant message client users. Especially if I could take all those people and port them into Gmail and GoogleTalk and then target ads at them based on their emails and searches...

Hasn't Time-Warner wanted to shed AOL for a while anyway? Sounds like a sweet deal in the making. Maybe Yahoo! should just throw in the towel now.
