Remember when I said this...?

Once again I would love for there to be a selective memory blocking device so that I could re-experience movies like this "for the first time" without knowing the secrets of the film.

Well apparently it's closer than I thought.

I recommend Runaways. It's about a troupe of teens who are the children of super-villains, and run away to escape their roots and become heroes. I've always been a fan of the genre of teen super groups (Young Justice, Out There, Young Avengers...) and this is a neat little twist. I had no idea it existed really; apparently it came out in 2002, got cancelled, then restarted last February due to popular demand.

It's now available as 2 hardcovers - volume one and volume two. I just finished one, and I'm hooked. Brian Vaughan is also responsible for writing Y: The Last Man, so if you've been into that, you might want to see this.
