I missed the Smallville shark!

You know a show has jumped the shark when one of the main characters dies and you didn't even know it... I just randomly had the TV on last night, and notice that John Schneider wasn't on the credits and thought "Holy crap, they killed Pa Kent!" Superman's got to be leaving Smallville RSN.
