Randee is on vacation in Colorado - she sent me a picture of the place where she's staying. I forwarded it to myself at my gmail account, and the next link ad to show up in the rotation is "Great Lodges of the West".

Is it really possible that Google figured out that the picture she sent me is of a lodge in the Rockies? There was no text on it, it was forwarded from my phone to my gmail; there shouldn't have been any contextual information that would have inferred it was a picture of a Colorado lodge. I literally have nothing else in my inbox that would prompt that exact ad to pop up.

Maybe just coincidence??? Otherwise, Google's image recognition is really fucking impressive.
