No Jesus!

Many thanks to Warren Ellis for posting this link which provides insight into the first piece of evidence that may indicate Jesus never resurrected and was maybe more like an Israeli Che Guevara. With any luck, someone will unearth an incontrovertible tablet that says: "Dear Shlomo, I have this great idea for a scrollplay about a guy named Jesus Christ who embodies the messiah myth people have been throwing around for a half century. I'll throw in some special effects like walking on water or something, and it'll start a whole new following. We'll call it 'Christ-ology' and make a ton of moolah."

Wouldn't that beat all? "Hey, millions of Christians! Your New Testament is all baloney! And you Mormons, you're so shit out of luck..." How do you think they'd take that? American Inquisition?

If you kidnapped David Lynch, Jan Svankmeyer, and Trent Reznor; locked them up in a room and hopped them up on crystal meth and subjected them to Evil Dead 2 on an endless loop; and then forced them all to have rough sex with cheese graters the hard way, and you exposed the resulting bits of metal and flesh that fall off to cosmic rays... you would eventually evolve something that looks like Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1992).
