Let The Harvesting Begin

Yahoo sells your Flickr pictures: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2325157,00.asp

I'm sure people will be "fairly compensated" for their content, right? And I'm sure that Yahoo won't take any archive copies of images they have from users who closed their accounts and just straight sell those to Getty Images...

Here Comes iPhone...

Really, it's "Here Comes the App Store". 500 applications, and 125 of them are free?

http://www.theiphoneblog.com/2008/07/10/apple-tv-21-with-iphone-itunes-remote-mobileme-galleries-now-live/

Oh, and one of those free apps is "remote control" for Apple TV, which I predicted twice:

Now they just need to integrate Apple TV into an HD iScreen... all the infrastructure and content deals are in place.

Honey potting?

Did Apple release the iPhone 2.0 firmware early to see who unlocks it, and how exactly they do it? Is it a red herring - a brick trap? Or does Apple just not care if AT&T gets the hose?
