I used to work for Seth Godin, as an employee of Yoyodyne Entertainment/Seth Godin Productions.
He's a brilliant man. He was a really difficult man to work for, and I think I was too immature to overlook his faults as a manager to take advantage of the opportunity to learn from such an innovative mind.
He's particularly innovative in the field of marketing, but he's best at marketing himself. I often conflicted with him on business ethics, especially in terms of given credit where it was due. He's also a maddening devotee of Zig Ziglar.
But if his newer books fall in line with the books published by Seth Godin Productions, they are probably good reads with some great ideas.
