A Red Letter Day

I changed a tire for the first time today. Somehow my right rear got busted, and fix-a-flat didn't fix the flat. So I put on my donut... and I'm taking it in to Saturn tomorrow for an oil change/tune-up and a new tire.

Then I joined Chris for brunch at Cyprian's - which was really kind of eh. It was decent, run of the mill for a hotel, basically. But I could have made a better omlette myself, honestly; J's at the Winery is so much better, and costs the same. I kind of wish we'd gone to the Harlequin at the Beechwood Inn instead... ah well, next time.

We then went to Framingham for a day of shopping, since the weather was not conducive to apple picking. I introduced Chris to the wonderfulness of Harry and David chocolate covered fruit, and he hit me for giving him a new vice. :)

The Natick Mall is okay. But parking there is a pain in the ass. Plus, it takes an hour to get in and out of there if you just want to buy something quick.

Aside from being the mecca of all mecca's of the shopping world... they have the Warner brothers store, and the Disney store all within shouting distance... Traffic does suck there... but it's worth it for pretty much one stop shopping...

Does it have to be an actual Godiva store? There's Godiva stuff in the "Basket Case" at the Solomon Pond mall (on the Bertucci's side).

Yay! I love that damn mall. Even if parking's kind of a bitch but then, parking at ALL malls sucks.
