Hypocrites!

Amongst "moral" voters in rural areas:

"The Foley scandal has no impact on their votes in November."

Pro-life, pro-pedophilia!

If it had been a Democrat, would you vote Republican?

Does the behavior of a single member of a party mean you won't vote for any member of the party? If I'm a Republican voter in Alaska and no one from Alaska was accused of improper behavior or looking the other way, then why shouldn't I vote Republican?

If it were Hilary Clinton, would you choose not to vote for Kerry?

Does the fact that the party covered it up mean that the party is corrupt? Yes, it does.

I make no distinction between this and the catholic church pedophilia; same shit, disturbed repressed fucks in a position of power over children, and a huge cover up and denial. The unfortunate thing is that I have to vote for somebody - I can at least just deny god and sue priests when it's jeebus touching my children and not have it really impact my day to day life.

The Democrats do not preach family values and morality and sexual abstinence and then turn around and rape children and cover it up - that's what Republicans do. But okay, sure, if the Democrats did THE EXACT OPPOSITE of what they said their party does and stands for, then yes I would switch to voting for another party.

It just continues to prove that people who yell and scream most about morals are the people who have the least morality.

Back when we were freshman. I was a Rush Limbaugh Republican and I was homophobic. Oh and lookie...I was teh gay...teh BIG. OLD. GAY. Those that condemn the loudest tend to be covering for their own issues and insecurities.

It's not so much a single member of that party but a culture culture that has grown and festered within the that party since they took control of Congress that's at issue.

And if I were a Republican voter in Alaska I would vote Democrat because the Internet is neither a series of tubes nor a flat-bed truck. Because I wouldn't want such a bumbling addled old fool representing me in Congress.
