Amongst "moral" voters in rural areas:
"The Foley scandal has no impact on their votes in November."
Pro-life, pro-pedophilia!

on 2006-10-05 06:45 pm (UTC)If it had been a Democrat, would you vote Republican?
Does the behavior of a single member of a party mean you won't vote for any member of the party? If I'm a Republican voter in Alaska and no one from Alaska was accused of improper behavior or looking the other way, then why shouldn't I vote Republican?
If it were Hilary Clinton, would you choose not to vote for Kerry?

on 2006-10-05 07:12 pm (UTC)The Democrats do not preach family values and morality and sexual abstinence and then turn around and rape children and cover it up - that's what Republicans do. But okay, sure, if the Democrats did THE EXACT OPPOSITE of what they said their party does and stands for, then yes I would switch to voting for another party.
It just continues to prove that people who yell and scream most about morals are the people who have the least morality.
