Julia has some issues - she's almost crying when she starts playing that CD. And what, she didn't tell Ben about the book club? She doesn't like him.

The old woman at the book club must be an original Dharma project person - same with the white haired guy. I have a feeling that everyone else in The Others is around the same age... maybe they're all genetically engineered super-babies?

The scene they did was more out of Raiders of the Lost Ark - dress the girl up, give her dinner, she's still a captive. I was waiting for Kate to try and get the bloke drunk.

I had figured the "so I'm out of the book club" to Juliet was because they had been in a previous relationship, and now are not. They were laughing that Ben hates Stephen King, and they kind of laughed at that.

Also--if you go back to when Ben (as Henry) was in the Swan hatch, and Locke asks him if he wants to read a book, he asks, "got any Stephen King?"...just thought that was funny.

My opinion on the commune known as "The Others"...I keep getting back to the old research adage that when you're observing something, both the observer and the observed are changed. I think it's just taken to it's dramatic extreme. Seriously--Sawyer in a huge Skinner box? Kate's conditioning to fear/love (look like a lady before you're tortured), Jacks....whatever, they put him in an aquarium.

I am excited about coming weeks--but more for what'll happen back at the losties' camp. Yay! Lost is back!

I suspect Sayed (sp?) to wreak havok shortly. And I just want to see Sawyer shoot Zeke. Very, very badly.

Hell, I would've lived with him strangling Julia rather than hesitating and getting tasered.
