mik3capWe filmed today... and I actually almost got all of my filming done! I only have three short scenes left to do, so that will translate into one more day of shooting at some point in the next couple weeks. I may have to come in one more time after that for dubbing if the audio doesn't work out anywhere, but after that I'm done HUZZAH!
I got to see myself in a rough cut of the film on a laptop today. Probably about 60% of the movie has been shot at this point, so it's very rough with just a little preliminary music and editing here and there. Watching your performance in a movie is the most bizarre experience... the music and the editing and all that merging with the memory of shooting the scene multiple times gives you this feeling of unreality like "wow, is that really what I said/did?". Way cool.
It's possible that the premiere might be at the Brattle theater in Cambridge. I'll of course post details when that time actually happens, but I doubt it'll be before the Summer...
