No longer true. See, for example, "South Korean Dramas Are All the Rage among North Korean People (http://www.dailynk.com/english/read.php?cataId=nk01500&num=2862)" Also, many watch South Korean TV or listen to South Korean Radio. Illegally, admittedly. ;-)

Too bad they don't have any oil.

Also, China (and, to a lesser extent, Russia) is backing them. Our only path, unfortunately, is to pressure China to pressure North Korea.
