How Cool Would It Be

How cool would it be to have a job:

a) Where the offices are located on the Cape
b) Where you can develop software/telecommute from home and they pay for your high speed access
c) Where you could also potentially travel and consult for about $800 a day (if you feel like it)
d) Where you'd be participating in the creation of a next generation web product that will make Flash obsolete in the web application space

How cool would it be?

Sounds good right up to item d, which presumes that Flash was a necessary part of the web application space to beign with... Just trying to play devil's advocate, here--CToons was a cool idea, too...

Have you seen what Macromedia has been up to lately with Flex? It's still nascent, but it's really the only thing out there that does what it does.

Ah, so this is an actual established company rather than a pipe dream. Now it sounds good.

Yes. They have about 50 employees, their consulting arm does SAP data migration and middleware, and they have Fortune 500 clients. They've been in business since 1997. They primarily see me being on the dev team.

If things work out and I get the job there, I can probably get you in if you're interested... :)
