On the topic of Evil
Aug. 30th, 2006 11:57 amSomething that has stuck with me for some time is this quote, paraphrased: "Morality arises from intention, knowledge, and action". The definition of intent is somewhat obvious; knowledge basically equates to foreknowledge - knowing for certain that a particular act will bring about a particular outcome. And action is, naturally, going through with the act itself.
If one uses this as a basis, one can categorize different "levels" of good or evil.
( Cut for those who aren't interested )
