Yes, we've now arrived at the time of year where I have to ask myself that now immortal question...
Should I scalp my Wii for Christmas?
At this point I think I can easily get about $450 for it, maybe more. eBay is filled with Wiis waiting for parents to get desperate, and Craigslist averages around $400 - $600. If I did sell it, I'd only sell the base unit stuff, Wii Sports, and an extra controller; I'd keep everything else for the new Wii I'd purchase some time after Christmas at regular retail price (or maybe they'll have a price drop in the Spring).
It's $150-$200 of profit I'd be looking at... nothing to sneeze at, you know. I'm not desperate for dough by any means, but I could use the money to buy presents for other people, or to buy myself some new clothes that fit my more svelte self.
