Gau report

Currently sleeping peacefully. I am administering Saw Palmetto every two hours per vet instruction. Waiting to hear back from the surgical vet to see what else can be done for him.

Restructuring debt plan accordingly. sigh.

Taxing

Somehow I managed to save up receipts for... about one-fourth of my spending in 2007. A third of expenses was just rent, and I think the remaining third and change was mainly debt repayment and miscellaneous fun.

It's really interesting looking back over all the receipts and remembering what I was doing when I spent that money and who I was with and what was going on in my life at the time. I made a lot of memories in 2007 with a lot of great people.

The numbers also matched up well with what I've allotted for my spending budget, though I think I might want to scale back slightly in an effort to reduce spending.

Is This Why I Love My MacBook Pro?

I just downloaded an application that uses the built-in camera on my laptop to scan in bar codes on games, dvds, cds, and books and imports them into a virtual shelf. It then scrapes various retail sites on the Internet to get all the data about those media, and suggests other similar stuff and cool things... and it even has a lending system where I can track who currently has what stuff out just by beeping it in front of the camera.

SO NEAT!! Now I must scan in ALL MY EARTHLY POSSESSIONS.
