Hey, Apple?? Listen up!
Feb. 27th, 2008 11:14 amWhy aren't you providing a streaming service that lets me legally listen to all the music I own? Can't you just buy Pandora or something? Then you could use their music DNA thing to suggest more music I can buy at the iTunes store - maybe even once in a while throw in a "free" song from the suggestion list that encourages me to buy it. And then what would be really awesome would be the ability to sync my iPod through the streaming app!
Are you even working on an RIA framework? This would be the perfect app for it, a lightweight RIA iTunes that would let me sync my iPod from anywhere. I'm at work... I go online to the iTunes store, buy new music, it downloads to my laptop, and I plug my iPod into my work computer and the music syncs to it - and all the while I can stream the new music I bought through it. Maybe you could team up with Adobe and write it in AIR.
(actually, maybe gilko will see this and pass these ideas on...!)
