Jerusalem

Obama just gave a speech about Middle Eastern foreign policy, saying Jerusalem needs to remain Israel's undivided capital city.

I don't think Israel would ever go for it - but I honestly think the best course of action would be to declare Jerusalem a sovereign nation. Much the same way that the Vatican is its own sovereignity, Jerusalem itself should become an independent holy city. The only way to preserve it for everyone is to make it "belong" to no one. Of course, now the question is "who runs the city?" but frankly I think that's up to the people who live in Jerusalem to decide for themselves.

(Not that I personally care or am affected by this in any way, and I'm basically a non-interventionist and don't believe the United States should even be involved in any way; but it seems to me that when people argue over a baby, the best thing to do is take it away from both of them when cutting it in half isn't an option)

I want to extend an invitation to anyone in the NYC area who reads this journal:

I'm going to start playing games more regularly, and I would like to do so with you. I'm primarily talking about non-mainstream board games, of varying levels of complexity, but I'm open to playing card games and such too. I'm also looking to play or run role-playing games, but I realize that's perhaps a bit too nerdy for New York folks.

I have a large game collection (hit the load button when you get to the linked page) that is gathering way too much dust. I don't want to just shove them in storage or sell them, I want to use them!

I thought I'd put it forth to you folks first before I venture out into the seemingly sparse wilds of NYC gaming. I think my next stop is The Compleat Strategist store in Midtown, and putting up some flyers there or something...

Re: Fridge Cleaning Tomorrow

Choose It.....
Use it....
or
Lose It!

In our quest for Eco "Friendliness"...let's chuck the plastic bags folks!!
A plethora of Tupperware and other bowls are in the cabinets for your personal use.

All contents not initialed will be discarded. In an effort to be fair to those who may not be in the office today/tomorrow, I will not throw away anything that looks edible but if it's turning the color of the rainbow and slapping me high-five...out it goes!!

Thank you for your always anticipated cooperation.

Cheers!

She also procured a 56 ounce bag of dark chocolate M&Ms for the front desk, and stuck an ice cream scoop inside it for passers-by. She is awesome.
