Well, it looks like Scotland will be the home of the first superheroes - and they'll answer that age old question: Would you rather have the power of flight, or the power of invisibility?

It seems as though the Scots will replicate both of these powers soon. I wonder how much mileage a frictionless car would get?

I'm going to San Francisco!
I'm going to see gilko at the keynote!

Just a few more particulars to take care of tonight, then I leave from work tomorrow to get to Newark Liberty.

I just posted this comment on WIRED, in response to current punditry regarding the iPhone becoming the new killer game platform:

Games are never about technology. You can have the coolest Blu-Ray hi-def graphics monster console in the world, but if the content is CRAP, no one will buy.

Nintendo has always been about the characters and the licensing and the gameplay. If there were any smart play for Nintendo AND Apple to make, it would be to integrate the Wii Store with the iPhone so that people can play their Virtual Console games remotely on their iPhones.

Why not? Nintendo still makes money selling their Virtual Console library whether it downloads to Wii or iPhone. And it adds to Apple's awesomeness to have the entire Nintendo back catalog available for iPhone users to play with.

How hard could it be to write an NES/Super NES emulator on the iPhone?
