Well, hopefully this will continue the cascading failure of religion and anti-evolution stances. No more dopey "you can't make life from soup" prattling anyway! I love it when the quips of the naysayers fall away. Man can't fly! Man can't go to the moon! Evolution is just a theory, you can't make life from goo! Ha!!
How long do you think it'll be before Will Wright sims this stuff too? Spore 2.0?
EDIT: Oh, and by the way, ID folks... here's more proof that evolution exists and is correct, as scientists can now devolve chickens into dinosaurs.

Maybe we should devolve some people into prior versions of Homo as well, to prove where human origins came from once and for all? Any ID proponents want to volunteer for that?

Jun. 16th, 2008 05:14 pmIn-N-Out Burger. Turns out this was more about hype than taste. I couldn't really taste any of the meat in the burger, it was kinda flavorless. The Animal Fries were cool, but not so special I couldn't have made them myself... but really, the kicker was that INOB is actually Jeebus-McDonald's. Did not know that, but saw the bible chapters and verses on all the packaging.
Fury of Dracula. Interesting board game from Fantasy Flight. Cooperative, 5 players, one of whom is Dracula. Scour Europe to find the undead king, each player is a hunter with some special power. Basically it's like that LotR game with the Sauron doom track; Dracula though is REALLY FUGGING TOUGH, and the win conditions are just about balanced in his favor. The fellow playing Dracula messed up a couple times and thus it was actually possible to kill Drac fairly "early" and "easily". I think I'd like to play this one more time just to come up with some better strategies, but the hunters in general seem to have a pretty boring gameplay experience, while Dracula can pound the snot out of them as an NPC/GM type munchkin monster. We shall see.
