iPhone growth rate and also, Mars
Aug. 13th, 2008 02:52 pmIt looks like Apple is selling over 25,000 iPhones a day, according to Piper Jaffrey. In a couple of weeks, Best Buy will start selling them as well - that could easily raise the number to 35K or even 50K daily (with roughly 1,000 Best Buy stores nationwide).
Also, I just listened to a planetary scientist on NPR Science Friday, and he said that right now their best guess about the surface where the lander is is that there's about 2 inches of soil, and beneath that, "basically" a frozen ocean. Man, could you imagine if Mars turns out to be a water planet??
