Call Center Advocate
Feb. 1st, 2009 11:58 pmHow much would you pay for a call center advocacy service? Here's the hypothetical:
You're getting nowhere with your calls to customer service - you keep getting the runaround, you get treated poorly, your issues never get resolved. Now imagine that you call a 900 number; you get a person on the line who gets all your information and starts making your call for you (while you're still on the line). You might even have a chat window open with your advocate so you can feed him or her additional information while they are talking to a call center rep. Your advocate deftly deals with the call center, escalates as appropriate, complains loudly on your behalf and gets you the best possible resolution.
What's this worth to you? How much would you pay per minute? Let's say an average call takes anywhere from 15-25 minutes. Would you pay $1.00 a minute? How cool would it be to pay $15.00 for a call, you get to listen to someone really give it to the call center on your behalf, and then maybe you get something like a $20.00 gift certificate out of the deal. Is that not worth it??
