Last Night

mik3capI went to visit Jess last night down in RI. I had a really great time hanging out with her, as always. She took me to a dying strip mall with a store called "The Toy Vault" that must have had every freaking obscure action figure ever made. They had a couple of tables with a bunch of comic books from 10 or so years ago, and I got to paw through them a bit and find a couple of little gems for 33 cents each. LOTS of garbage books mostly, but you always find the cool stuff amongst the piles of crap in hole in the wall joints.
We went to go see I, Robot and it was actually a more decent movie than I thought it was going to be. They pretty much just took the base premise of Asimov's story and totally ran with it, and they made a pretty good movie out of it. They had to make a lot of changes to turn it into an action movie, but somewhere in there they managed to keep a good chunk of the intent of Asimov's story.
We then went out for Chinese food and the meal was pretty decent, but I haven't had much of an appetite the last few days, so I ended up taking most of my dinner home. I actually managed to eat it when I got back to Worcester though, it was good stuff.
