I am an idiot. But not the only one.

Frigging iPod syndrome is what it is. This is the new tactic - release the crappy product, then release the slimmer, more featured one in 18 months.

Lesson learned. Trust not the Nintendo assholes, for they lie like lying liars!

So the thing about handheld game systems... When do you have time to play one? I suspect you must do some travel for CranBerry, and then it makes sense, but how much do you play when you're at home?

Dude... I have a lot of time on my hands in the evenings. I don't go out much as I still haven't met many people out here.

I spend maybe 6 hours a week on the handheld, and a lot of the rest of my free time watching TV and movies with a cat on top of me.

You need to take some night classes

Uh, they never said they WOULDN'T release a new version...

Also, why don't you complain about the computer industry in general? Companies like Intel, AMD, ATI, etc., develop technology but purposely release a gimpy version first, waiting a year to release the really powerful stuff. In order that each individual product maximizes revenue. Not saying it's a good thing, but it's hardly Nintendo's invention.

Sure, I'll complain about the 18 month turnover cycle all day long if I think people will listen. :D

I don't own an iPod, never will. I think it's ridiculous that they keep releasing new versions constantly. I hate the bait and switch no matter who does it in any industry. I always try to maximize my hardware for 36 months, a minimum two Moore cycles. :)
