How did your friend get into the voice acting for animation thing? I've been trying to encourage my dad to get into cartoon voiceovers, because I know he'd be awesome for it - he makes all kinds of crazy sound effects too.
Well, he used to be in a sketch troupe with Brendon Small from Home Movies and now Deathklok, so he had done a few cartoon voiceovers before. The creators of the cartoon are friends of his who used to do standup at The Comedy Studio.
So, although Larry is the most talented character actor I've ever met in my life, basically, it's who you know.
