What's the appropriate grammar for the phrase: "Who observes the observer?"

Is "Quisnam video visum?" close?

There's "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" which is "who guards the guards" or "who watches the watchers" depending how you translate it. Originally asked by Plato, according to Wikipedia, but to be honest, I know it from Terry Pratchett's novel "Thud!"

Not exactly what you're asking, I realize, but perhaps the grammer of it is transferrable? So, maybe "Quis video ipsos visum?"

No idea really, but any excuse to quote Pratchett ;-)
