Thursday Night Movie!

mik3capIn the tradition of such great events as "Tuesday Night Dinner" and "Monday Night Sushi", I would like to institute the "Thursday Night Movie". I went ahead and purchased a Bijou membership tonight; for an annual cost of $100, I get to go to any movie I want any time I want to. I'll be getting a membership card sent to me in the mail in a couple days.
In order to make this "pay off" so to speak, I've got to go to a movie at least every other week. So from here on out, there will be at least a 50% chance that I will be there on Thursday nights!
Tonight I went to see "The Fast Runner". In short, it was an eskimo version of a Shakespearean drama. Very well written and filmed, a great movie. Inuits apparently don't live too long though, as the film was dedicated to two people in the production who died in their early 40s (one of whom was the writer, sadly).
