Batteries

I finally got some rechargeable batteries for my Wii remotes - set it all up today and charged the first two... noticed they got kinda warm. I've got the next two going, and, well... I'm a little paranoid. Don't want them to burst into flame when I'm asleep! The whole "bad battery" trend has got me a bit concerned. I hope Consumer Reports picks up after the corporations soon.

Perversely, the heat is a good sign. That means the batteries are successfully burning off the explosive gases created from overcharging rather than letting them build up.
