Time For An Old Poem

Who's a cold soul?
Don't I have passion too? Or
Am I a stone if I do not express my
Love...
Like an autumn leaf turning
Emotions change color and wither
Promise me that Spring comes soon
So I can dance in warm sun cool grass
Worn down by the savage rains
Torn up by the harshest winds
I cling tightly to the branch
I stave off the inevitable, final
Death...
Why must the sun go so soon?
Why does it become so so cold
So quickly?
I cannot bear it
Who's a cold soul?
Not I, not I...
A heart's a thing of earth
And deep down there is always still
Warmth...
And there I will find what I need
to survive the long winter.
